Legoland Discovery Centre The Hague: A kid’s play
Legoland Discovery Centre The Hague is a nice place to visit if your family is looking for fun activity to spend with kids in the morning or afternoon. Kids can play and learn, while enjoying fun creative workshops and at the same time seeing some of their famous Lego characters such as Ninjago and Izzie of Lego DREAMZzz. Legoland Discovery Centre The Hague is often suitable for small kids, but bigger kids and parents can also enjoy their day in their own way since there are various activities or tasks during your visit, as I will highlight below. .
What to do in Legoland Discovery Centre The Hague?
The following activities, which will be truly memorable for kids, will fill half of your day in Legoland Discovery Centre The Hague.
1. Participate in creative workshops.
The moment you enter Legoland, you will be welcome with some tasks for kids that lead to a small reward at the end of the activities. These include building anything from Lego bricks (e.g. windmill and flowers), finding the hidden Lego characters in Lego Miniland (note that this can be a challenge for kids and adults as it involves more than a million of Lego bricks), watching a 4D Lego cinema, and dancing with the Lego staffs.

2. Admire the Lego Miniland.
The Lego Miniland is an interactive city that features famous areas of The Hague and Scheveningen. As mentioned earlier, it consists of more than a million amount of Lego Bricks. You can find over 2500 minifigures in Miniland, the LEGO version of the Grand Hotel Amrâth Kurhaus that consists of about 25 thousand LEGO bricks and that took 400 hours to build, more than 20,000 bricks are incorporated in the LEGO Pier, and the Master Model Builders that took almost 500 hours to build the LEGO Cars Jeans Stadium (Cars jeans).

3. Enjoy the Lego Duplo Park.
There is also a small playground for kids to build their creativity through the Lego Duplo Park. Small kids can build their own Lego castle, play in the slides, or simply enjoy the games in the Lego Duplo Park.

4. Enjoy the 4D Cinema of Legoland Discovery Centre The Hague.
Family can also enjoy the 4D cinema experience in Legoland Discovery Centre The Hague. By watching Lego characters, kids can experience special effects such as rain, wind, snow, and so on. Some of the shows that have been displayed include LEGO® NINJAGO® – Master of the 4th Dimension, LEGO City 4D – Officer in pursuit!, and LEGO® Friends® Alien Invasion.

5. Become a real Ninja in the Ninjago Training Zone.
Ninjago is quite popular to kids (just like mine), so it is a cool experience for kids to experience some Ninja Trainings. Kids can take the laser maze challenge and build their own Ninjago Lego creations.

6. Enjoy and play with family on Imagination Express.
This is another fun experience for the entire family. Everyone can ride in the Imagination Express train and play, by waving the magic wand to score points as the train tour your family around the Lego City. Surely everyone would like to score higher just like in the computer games. Photos will be taken during the ride, so if you interested for a family souvenir, don’t forget to take them after the ride.

Where can I buy my Legoland Discovery Centre The Hague tickets?
Tickets can be brought in various discount sites such as SocialDeal, Tripper.nl, or directly at the website of Legoland Discovery Centre. If you are a family of atleast visiting the Legoland, then it is good to buy your tickets directly at Legoland Discovery Centre because it offers quite some discounts. It is also good to check from other discount websites in case the Legoland itself as no promotion for tickets on certain days. Note that the ticket is normally good for 2.5 hours visit especially if the place is very busy. However, if you visit on days or times with less visitors, then it should be possible to stay longer just like during our visit on a Sunday morning. Note that if you bring a car, you need to be early since the parking can get easily full. Also expect that since you are parking in one of the main cities of the Netherlands, the parking per hour can be very expensive even though it is weekend. It can costs up to 50 euros per day to park in the city.

Combining my visit to Legoland Discovery Centre The Hague with other activities
Are you planning to stay longer in The Hague? Then you can combine your Legoland Discovery Centre The Hague visit with other activities for family in the area. Legoland Discovery Centre The Hague is just in front of Scheveningen beach so you can combine your visit with a beach day. Combining your ticket with Discovery Centre Sealife Scheveningen can also be a double fun for kids to see some aquatic animals in the area. Looking for other inspiration? Check out my blogs on:
